Sewage Treatment Plant Fire

Toronto, Ontario - Aug. 21, 2003

After shooting some incredible lightning earlier in the evening, I ended up filming a fire at the Ashbridges Bay sewage treatment plant in Toronto. I was the first videographer on the scene.

Flames and smoke pour out of the sewage treatment plant. The odour was.....unpleasant.	Fire fighters hose down the walls of the plant. There was concern of a possible methane explosion.	The fire burned on for most of the night, The initial thoughts were that it was sparked by the heavy lightning that night but that theory was later disproven.
